week 10

assignment 2

A gaming element that students are very fond of is Mine Craft. It allows the users to create their own world and explore different types of game play. I feel that it is a great tool for math or even history lesson. It allows the students to think in a more abstract way to be able to apply knowledge. There are no real rules to the game you can either follow somewhat of a mission base objective or run will and create your own world. I’m very surprised that some many students enjoy this game the graphics I think are horrible, but it think it’s more about building and doing whatever you want. However, the game can be applied to a curriculum to make learning more abstract.
